Can Johnny Depp Convince You That He Is "Don Juan DeMarco"? Bank On It

Don Juan DeMarco - 4 Stars (Excellent)

"Don Juan DeMarco" is a neat, compact, engrossing film that not only is fantastic entertainment but also tests your sense of reality. Somehow, sadly, it got lost in its limited exposure and lack of commercial success to be all but forgotten as a great moviemaking effort.

I am here to resurrect it and sing the praises of Johnny Depp as Don Juan DeMarco.

Released in 1995 as an independent film, Don Juan DeMarco is the story of John R. DeMarco, a man who believes he is Don Juan, the greatest lover in the world. Clad in a loose cloak with a mask, he arrives in New York in search of his lost love, Dona Ana (Geraldine Pailhas).

Distraught at not finding her, he attempts to commit suicide from atop a billboard, only to be talked down by the soon retiring psychiatrist Dr. Jack Mickler (Marlon Brando). Dr. Mickler has exactly 10 days to bring DeMaco back to reality or he will likely never get out of the psychiatric hospital where he is being held for evaluation.

Dr. Mickler is required to give DeMarco meds immediately but chooses not to do so. DeMarco's impact on Dr. Mickler and the staff is immediately apparent, and he is so convincing as Don Juan that even Dr. Mickler is affected as he reevaluates his own life and marriage to his wife Marilyn (Faye Dunaway).

This movie is too good to give away what happens next.

The transformation of people around Don Juan DeMarco is remarkable. He is intoxicating and uplifting. There is a reason why Johnny Depp is credited with being one of the most versatile actors in the film business, and why the films featuring him have grossed more than $4.7 billion worldwide.

Director Jeremy Leven also wrote the script, which included some work by Lord Byron in his legendary poem "Don Juan". Dozens of Hollywood directors have tried to both direct and write a film but few have achieved as well as Leven. He joins a very short list that includes Tim McCanlies in "Secondhand Lions" and Brian De Palma in "Dressed to Kill".

To understand the power of the script, listen to the dialog of Don Juan DeMarco talking about women:

"There are only 4 questions of value in life, Don Octavio. What is sacred? Of what is the spirit made? What is worth living for, and what is worth dying for? The answer to each is the same: only love."

"By seeing beyond what is visible to the eye. Now there are those, of course, who do not share my perceptions, it is true. When I say that all my women are dazzling beauties, they object. The nose of this one is too large; the hips of another, they are too wide; perhaps the breasts of a third, they are too small.

"But I see these women for how they truly are . . . glorious, radiant, spectacular, and perfect . . . because I am not limited by my eyesight. Women react to me in the way they do, Don Octavio, because they sense that I search out the beauty that lies within until it overwhelms everything else. And then they cannot avoid their desire, to release that beauty and envelop me in it."

"Have you never met a woman who inspires you to love? Until your every sense is filled with her? You inhale her. You taste her. You see your unborn children in her eyes and know that your heart has at last found a home. Your life begins with her, and without her it must surely end."

I was thinking, how did I miss this dialog when I was 20 years old and dating? No wonder hindsight and maturity are so valuable in our relationships.

Johnny Depp is an exceptional actor who shows his talent in Don Juan DeMarco. Depp is a 3-time Best Actor Academy Award nominee for his work in "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl", "Finding Neverland" and "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street". He did win the Best Actor Golden Globe for Sweeney Todd.

Don Juan DeMarco had a strong musical score by Michael Kamen, and the song "Have You Ever Really Loved a Woman?" was nominated for both a Golden Globe and a Grammy.

Unfortunately, Don Juan DeMarco cost $25 million to produce and generated $68 million worldwide. The lack of awards and lack of bigger profit production meant less press and less exposure for the film, reducing its impact.

I thought Don Juan DeMarco and Johnny Depp were both smashingly good and deserved better. I would see this film again in a heartbeat.

Of Origins and Moderation

More often than not when I look at hip hop, I find myself overlapping and talking about the black culture. I draw comparisons and often put the women from the "black" (and I use quotes for a particular purpose) origins and those that subscribe to that hip hop culture into the same category.

I am aware of this and thought I should clarify why that is for the minority out there who like me aren't as well read on the origins of hip hop as most others.

In my first entry I called Hip Hop, "the black man's music". I guess in ways I was inevitably participating in the argument that seems to have taken hold of most of the music enthusiasts out there regarding the ultimate question. Is it really Black man's music? With an artist like Eminem out there and the massive following that Hip Hop has from almost every culture and country - thus resulting in it being universal, the spirit of it all is thus becoming more and more a point of contestation.

In spite of borrowing and lending to a number of varying cultures, I believe Hip Hop remains the tales of the ghettos - whether you have personally lived in one or not - it is where it originated from. It is in the language, in the attitude and in the imitation. Thus, it is also the story of the women from those beginnings, those lives and those histories. Looking at it this way, I guess I clarify to myself and you why much of my observations and arguments merge into racial and social issues that deals more with one particular nation of people whose culture has given birth to this genre and till date remains a part of it that though can be imitated, it cannot be denied.

Moving on, I came across something really interesting the other day. During the press conference held to announce the BET Awards 2007 nominees, 50 Cent and T.I. addressed the ever present issue of censorship in lyrics. I am pretty sure most of you already know what I am on about and if you don't, scroll down*. I quite enjoyed it. They gave some surprisingly (for me anyway) intelligent and well thought of responses that I can't help but talk further about.

I agree with most of what they have said but my main concern is for those that do not predominantly belong to or have contact with that environment or haven't ever faced anything close to it but yet feel the need to imitate the lifestyles and thus prefer to view themselves as well as others in particular stereotypes.

Moderation and parental control seems like a noble idea but realistically we live in the age of hyper-reality, where distinguishing between what is real and what is make-believe is damn near impossible. Thus inspiration merges into blind imitation, generalisations are made and behaved upon and thus as much as I agree that the artists need to educate and inform, I think at the end of the day, its another endless cycle, much like watching a dog chase its tail.

Now I do realise most of what I say may seem almost irrelevant and most of you, who are skimming through are probably least concerned about it all, but here's a reality check. Even if you are from the streets, you still have mothers, maybe sisters and perhaps will even have daughters one day.

Peace Out.

Kindle - Don't Buy It!

The Amazon Kindle has been topping the electronic bestseller charts since its launch last November. Many customers bought this electronic book reader for its portability, readability and its ability to store thousands of books. Some fans of the Amazon Kindle even go as far as claiming it to be the ultimate replacement of real books.

Hefty Price Tag - The cost will have to be the biggest flaw of this e-book reader. At nearly four hundred dollars, how many books should one buy to make up for the price of the Amazon Kindle? Calculations based on the price of an average book reveals that you will need to purchase 40 books a year to make up for the cost of purchasing the electronic reader. I personally barely read ten books a year. Do you? According to statistics, the average reader in the United States buys about 4 books a year. Here, it will take up to 10 years for you to recover the cost of buying the Amazon Kindle.

Portability? - Portability is one of the main selling points of the Amazon Kindle. Having the dimensions of an average paperback and measuring just 0.7 inch in thickness, it boasts of the capability to store thousands of books at any one time. The truth is, how many of us read more than one book at any one time? According to online polls, most book readers do not read more that one book at anytime, thus although having the option of storing thousands of books in a little gadget may sound like a cool feature, in truth, this feature will rarely be used by the average reader.

Environmentally friendly? - Many tout the Amazon Kindle boast as a 'green product'. It is supposedly more sustainable, leaving less environmental impact on the planet compared to real books. It is true that many trees are cut down every year to make books, but is the production of an electronic book reader any more environmentally friendly? These electronic readers, like many other electronic products, are made of plastics, microchips, conductors and many other components. Real books on the other hand, are made of just ink and paper. It takes much more resources and energy to produce the Amazon Kindle and if everyone in the US were to buy an e-book reader, the carbon footprint left by the production line will far greater than those left in the production of books. Moreover, real books are 100% recyclable and can the same be said of the Amazon Kindle? The electronic reader needs to be charged every two days, unnecessarily increasing the consumption of energy of the average person, which contributes of the causes of global warming.

All in all, Kindle is another highly hyped gadget that is only useful for elite readers who purchase more than 40 books every year. Unless you have lots of cash to throw around or a collector of gadgets that you will barely use, stay away from the Amazon Kindle!

Shopping for a Car Loan - Tips to Get the Best Deal

Before you decide to shop for anything, ask yourself if you really require the item. If you have decided to purchase a car, choose if it is going to be a new or used car, the make as well as the model. You also need to have a price in mind before shopping for a car loan as well know the amount of finance that you would require. If you have an old car that you wish to dispose, the loan amount will reduce considerably. The next step is to study the market and the different auto loan lenders.

Tips Before You Start Shopping

If you want to negotiate and get a good rate, it is important to study and be aware of the various market prices offered. Car lending companies are available in plenty in the market. Hence, it is important to study them on the basis of the rates offered, terms and conditions, loan period, fees etc. You can always consult your friends if they have used the services of that particular loan company.

It is also important to understand the credibility of the company. You can see many enticing advertisements regarding different schemes that can trick the customers. It is important to choose a company which is genuine and serious about their business and is there to serve the customers in the best way.

Another factor to consider is the APR - annual percentage rate of the car loan. It is the amount of interest that has to be paid per year as a percentage of the amount borrowed. This makes a big impact on the cost of the car loan. The time taken for repayment also determines the monthly installment to be made for the borrowed amount. You will have a better picture once you calculate the monthly payment that you would have to make.

Do Your Calculation

You also need to consider the fees that you are required to pay for the availed loan. Considering the above factors, you will have the final picture of your total charges. There can also be late payment fees attached to some of these loans. You need to ensure you make timely payments in order to avoid this extra financial charge to your already existing payment.

With all the above factors, you can now do a good comparative study of the various offers from different lenders. You should make the final choice as you are the best judge now. Shopping for a car loan should be done after enough homework has been done. Do not rush into making a purchase which can bear heavily on your finances. Be completely satisfied with your loan and go for it if you are 100% convinced about the deal.

How to Get Cheap Van Insurance

Whether you have children, own a business, or just have a personal preference for driving roomy vehicles such as vans, you need van insurance and of course, you want to obtain the cheapest van insurance possible. While you may be tempted to just hand over your information to your current insurance agent, you may want to look at your options to make sure that you are getting the best deal for your lifestyle.

First speak with your current insurance agent and ask what they can offer you. If you don't have an agent for car or van insurance but you do have an agent for your home, office, or life, speak to them first. They may be able to offer you a great discount by having all of your accounts with that company. Also ask if they will provide any other discounts. A lot of insurance companies will offer discounts if you belong to a roadside assistance program or if you have taken a defense driver's course.

Find ways to lower quotes such as living close to your work or living in a very safe neighborhood. There are many van insurance policies that will lower quotes based on the amount you will be driving the van and the conditions that the van will be under. The type of van that you drive will also affect your van insurance quote. How old the van is and the mileage of the van are just some factors that will determine the amount the van insurance will be.

Using your age can help you obtain a cheap van insurance policy. There are many discounts available for people who fall within a certain age range. Some insurance companies will accept a copy of a good report card in exchange for a discount on van insurance. Some insurance companies also offer a general student discount. If you are elderly, you may be able to take advantage of some senior discounts that many van insurance companies offer.

The next thing you will want to do is to call around to a few different insurance companies to get quotes. When you are speaking with them, note how you like talking to them, how eager they seem to be, and whether you have a good rapport with them or not. Choose one or two that you really like and if they have a van insurance quote that is higher than others, take the competitor's quote to them and ask if they will match it. There are many insurance companies that will do this for you.

Also go online to find out if any online companies can give you cheap van insurance that will suit your needs. Many companies have online calculators that will provide you with a free quote instantly! These online companies will also often take you through what discounts you are eligible for, and what deals would work best for you. You can find many sites that will prepare a quote from a few companies and doing it this way allows you to comparison shop at a glance!

When you have purchased a van insurance policy and it expires, try to remain with the same company when you need to renew your van insurance. Many insurance companies will provide you with a renewal discount and this will help you on your way to cheap van insurance!

How Long Do Insurance Claims Take?

No matter what kind of claim you're making, the settlement of your insurance claim could take months, even years. Commercial claims on buildings and vehicles are often complex with reams of red tape. Domestic claims - homeowner's, life, and vehicle insurance - are less complex, but involve the often-unprepared policy holder doing battle with an insurance company that is long skilled with denying claims.

Your first weapon understands how long your claims should take. Small cases, like vehicle damage, should be taken care of right away. More than a business week is too long. Medical cases should also be handled quickly, though they may take a bit longer, up to a month or more if the case is complicated. Life insurance should be settled, also, within a month of filing provided there is no controversy surrounding the death.

Home insurance and business insurance are a little different. First, with your business, if you have business interruption insurance with the same insurer that covers your premises, you may be able get them to move faster as every day they don't pay you is another day they pay on the other policy. Regardless, in both home and business settlement will take a little longer than other policies, particularly if the damage was caused by a natural disaster that caused problems elsewhere as well. If you take pictures of everything yourself, you may be able to speed up this process; if it takes more than a couple of days for the claims adjuster to make it out to your site, you should take those pictures yourself anyway to document how much damage was done.

There are a few things you can do to speed up your claims. The first is to stay on top of it. You should know what stage your claim is in, what has been done and what remains to be done, and approximately how long it is until you can expect to hear a decision. This often entails keeping very good records as well as calling weekly or even daily to check on what's happening. The person to deal directly with is your claims adjuster.

If your adjuster does not give you good results in what you consider to be a timely manner, ask to speak to his or her supervisor. A good supervisor can get your claim expedited.

If your claim is a large one and especially if you're nervous about the possibility of the claim being denied (as in when floods cause large numbers of homes to be damaged and make it more likely for the insurers to deny claims) you might need to hire a loss assessor.

How a Loss Assessor Can Help

A loss assessor is to you the same as the claims adjuster is to the insurance company: an ally who will look at the damage done and try to come up with a fair price to cover the claim. He often has a claims adjustment background, and will be able to deal with the insurance company better than you ever could. Although a loss assessor will cost you money, the increase in your settlement he may be able to get should more than offset his cost to you, and in addition he will be able to protect your future claims with your insurance company. Whenever you have a large claim it is worth looking into a loss assessor for professional and intelligent advice.

Understanding Auto Insurance

Auto insurance is a legal requirement of driving. Every driver needs it. Auto insurance is a competitive industry. It certainly is not characterized by monopoly, the traditional basis for price and entry regulation. Auto insurance is so dynamic that it is almost impossible to predict more than six months in the future how much will be paid in claims. Variables such as people moving from one place to another, explosions in popularity of more destructive vehicles like SUVs, changes in driving habits like driving while talking on cell phones, and changes in jury awards are all variables that usually cannot be accounted for until the last minute.

Auto insurance is simply about how much you are willing to pay out of your own pocket versus how much you want the insurance company to cover. Once you decide this, you're all set to purchase your auto insurance policy. Auto insurance is coverage and protection, and that can vary widely from policy to policy. Auto insurance is a must for all those owning an auto. It offers financial protection when caught in an accident.

Auto insurance is a necessity and not a luxury. In order to get the maximum amount of advantage, the experts recommend making a thorough research in order to shop for auto insurance company. Auto Insurance is not same for all vehicles, it depends on the kind of vehicle, the year etc. Some Insurance companies offer discounted Car Insurance which makes you tension free from your car damages. Auto insurance is not a contract; however, policyholders must be aware that there is the possibility that there may be an amount due after cancellation. This can be due to either unpaid earned premium, cancellation fees (range in the area of $15-$50), or policy fees (usually range from $10-$40).

Cars

Car insurance covers accidents, not diseases, and therefore it can be priced aggressively for those who are willing to take larger risks as to the condition of the car after an accident. There is no liability-only version of health insurance. Carefully read any policies or quotes so that you understand the terms of coverage. Car safety is an issue that won't go away. The best any of us can do is ensure that we are adequately covered by insurance in case the unthinkable was ever to happen.

Car insurance premiums increase. Data gathered by Experian shows that the typical quote for private comprehensive motor insurance increased by 7.9 per cent in May 2007 compared to the same period in 2006. Cars were getting better, roads were getting better (even if the drivers weren't), and insurance losses were falling. This reduction in losses meant that auto insurance premiums fell everywhere-including California.

Deductibles

Deductibles vary by state, but are most often in amounts of $100, $250, $500 or $1,000. For example, if you are in an accident that causes $2,500 worth of damage and your deductible is $500, you are required to pay the $500 and the insurance company will take care of the remaining $2,000. Deductibles This is the amount of money you must pay before your insurance company will pay for damages. Higher deductibles (more cost for you in case of an accident) mean lower premiums. Deductibles are the amount of out-of-pocket expenses you'll pay if you're in an accident. As a general rule, liability insurance is less expensive than comprehensive and the higher the deductible, the lower your premium.

Person:

Personal auto insurance is available in both California and Florida. Business auto insurance is currently available in California only. Personal injury insurance is designed to cover your medical bills, around eighty percent, and a portion of the lost wages you suffered, around sixty percent, if you are injured in a car related accident. This type of protection will cover your family members or anyone who was in your vehicle, depending on your policy and insurance company. Persons sharing characteristics with high claims groups will be charged more for insurance coverage.

Companies:

Companies normally negotiate this with each other. If you have insufficient coverage, you may have to go to court?thus displaying the tort aspect of the law. Companies use a formula to determine rates. We won?t get into the details of the formula but basically they calculate out the number of drivers they cover, the costs for the previous year including operating, accident, and liability claims, then they do some math and come out with their rates.

Shopping

Shop around: Auto insurance rates can vary as much as 300% between companies for the same coverage. You can save hundreds of dollars a year by comparing auto insurance quotes between companies. Shopping by phone will be available in New Jersey sometime next year. Shop around and do it yearly. Don't just keep paying the invoice over and over without comparison shopping.

Shop around and compare rates from different insurance companies. A good place to start is the consumer auto section at the Insurance Department's website, www.ins.state.ny.us.

Discounts

Discounts also depend on your academic grades. Maintain good levels in your college grades and present a copy of your mark sheet to insurance company to receive substantial discounts. Discounts are offered to motorists who drive less than 15,000 miles per year - the lower the mileage, the more the discount.

Collision

Collision coverage pays for physical damage to your car as the result of your auto colliding with an object, such as a tree or another car. This coverage is optional and not required by law. Collision insurance protects drivers in the case of encounters with other vehicles, objects, people, and the surface of the road. Collision insurance will cover the driver whether or not he or she is at fault for the accident.

Additionally, an individual may require a commercial auto policy depending on who is driving or riding in the vehicle. Additionally, some companies receive ratings of R (under regulatory supervision) and NR, which means 'not rated'. The letter grades might be modified by a + or - mark.

Shop Around For Income Payment Protection

There is no doubt about it; income payment protection can be a very valuable product. If you take out protection and then find yourself not being able to earn a living through accident, illness or unemployment you could be left struggling financially. With the backup of a protection plan to fall back on you would not have to worry about a loss of income as you would receive a payment that was tax-free after a period of unemployment or incapacity.

You do have to check the terms of polices when shopping around online for the cheapest quotes. The cost of a policy of course matters a great deal and independent providers will offer the cheapest premiums. However you also need to compare such things as when your policy would begin to provide benefit and for how long it would provide. You could take on a policy that would supply you with benefit after as little as 30 days. However some providers stipulate that you have to be unemployed or incapacitated for 90 days. Also look to see if the cover would be backdated to the first date of you stopping work, or of being made redundant. All policies will only provide benefit for a certain length of time before expiring. Some providers give 24 monthly repayments, others will give 12 months of cover, so again, make sure that you have to read the terms and conditions in the small print.

Income payment protection often gets confused with income protection insurance. However they are different forms of protection. Income protection insurance pays out for a longer period of time which can be anything up to the age of retirement. However it does not cover against being made redundant, it only protects the policy holder against illness or accident. Income payment protection on the other hand would only payout for the specified period of time once you claimed on the cover and it would also protect against you being made redundant.

There can be exclusions in the cover and these should be checked against your circumstances when considering protecting your monthly income. Some providers will add-in more exclusions than others so you should always compare these before signing up for cover.

An income payment protection policy can make a huge difference if you should find yourself out or work or if you should become unemployed. Without cover you would have to struggle to find the much needed money each month to pay not only your essential outgoings such as your mortgage you also have to be able to carry on feeding your family, keeping up with electricity and heating bills.

If you do not maintain the repayments of your mortgage then you are facing having your home repossessed. If you get behind on loan or credit card repayments then your credit rating will plummet and finding a lender willing to offer you a loan in the future could be very hard. You could end up having to go for a bad credit loan and usually the interest rates are a lot higher for someone with a bad credit rating.

Simon Burgess is Managing Director of the award-winning British Insurance, a specialist provider of income payment protection.

True Or False - Your Insurance Could Be At Risk

Perhaps you're simply in too much of a rush to provide accurate information, or you're looking to secure a cheaper premium - but offering false details to an insurer could jeopardise any future claims.

Research from Sainsbury's Bank shows 1.12 million people knowingly provide false information when taking out insurance with a further 12.59 million admitting to taking their 'best guess' on some information. While some insurers may be willing to overlook unintentional mistakes, providing false information can, in worst case scenarios, invalidate a policy.

Fifteen per cent of those taking out car insurance had provided false information. The overriding reason for offering inaccurate details was that there simply isn't the time to check the information (11 percent), while a further eight per cent said it takes too long to research.

If you're unsure as to the details you should provide, then the best advice is to contact the insurer directly with any queries. Go back and check the information you have provided - by applying for car insurance online you can often retrieve quotes and then modify them at a later point.

Surprisingly, it is older policyholders who are more likely to provide inaccurate information with 32.5 per cent admitting to knowingly providing false information or taking a 'best guess', compared to just 15.2 percent of 16-24 year olds.

Around four percent also admitted that securing a cheaper premium was their primary reason for offering false details. Failing to admit to modifying a car or providing inaccurate mileage information would put a policy at risk if a claim were necessary.

If you want cheap car insurance do not lie to your insurer. Be honest about your circumstances and if you're not happy with the quote shop around with a car insurance comparison tool to see what other deals are available.

Texas Flood Insurance - 8 Reasons Why

As a Houston, Texas Farmers insurance agent I frequently get questions about flood insurance. Here are eight reasons to consider getting flood insurance:

1) Your homeowners insurance policy does not cover flood damage. One of the main reasons people get homeowners insurance is for protection against a loss from fire. In Texas you are far more likely to have flood damage than fire damage. Flood insurance is valuable coverage for one of your most important assets.

2) Everyone lives in a flood zone. (According to the FEMA website.) In other words there is no such thing as a home that can not be flooded.

3) Even an inch or two of water can cause very costly damage to your property.

4) Federal disaster assistance is normally a loan that you must pay back with interest. This is not a good substitute for insurance.

5) It is easy to get flood insurance. You can get a quote and order a policy on the internet or by phone. This often takes less than 15 minutes.

6) In the event of a flood disaster it is far better to be one of the people with flood coverage!

7) With this insurance your family will have less to worry about when a big storm is in the news.

8) Flood insurance is generally inexpensive. Listed below is a chart for consumers that qualify for the preferred residential program:

Contents Only

$8,000 $61 per year

$20,000 $116 per year

$40,000 $146 per year

$60,000 $166 per year

$80,000 $181 per year

Home and Contents Combination

Building-Contents-Cost

$20,000 $8,000 $112 per year

$50,000 $20,000 $180 per year

$100,000 $40,000 $233 per year

$150,000 $60,000 $264 per year

$200,000 $100,000 $317 per year

Not everyone will qualify for the preferred rates. If you would like to get flood coverage consult with a good insurance company and get details and a quote. Customers in Texas can get more information at my Texas flood insurance site. Or you are welcome to call my office at 281-537-2700.

Insurance Quotes, Do You Need More?

It can all be in the convenience of your home while you are doing household chores or any other time you have available. Insurance quotes are very easy to obtain today if you know how to do the proper research to get them for your overall insurance needs, no matter what your specific types of insurance requirements are as a rule. There are all sorts of places to get good quotes from and these quotes are what help you arrive at the final decision as to what insurance company and or carrier to go with.

One of the best places to get insurance quotes is using the internet. Why use the internet to get insurance quotes? Because it is convenient for yourself compared to the conventional way which is either the phone or going in to an insurance office physically. Using the internet to find the best quote is relatively simple to do and allows you to gather all the information you need to make a decision. Maybe you just have 30 minutes before going to bed or when you first wake up in the mornings. The timing is great no matter what time it is. Getting insurance quotes this way is also much faster than the conventional way and there are no time constraints to get the information. You can access the information when you want to.

The conventional way is the way that does take up the most time. Because you tend to talk with an agent by phone who asks you a series of key questions or you make an appointment to go in and see an agent to relatively do very much the same thing as you would do by phone. This can be a very time-consuming thing if your time is limited, especially if you have a family. Children do not want to wait for you to give the information to obtain insurance.

When you use the conventional path, to attain a quote for your insurance needs you may be surprised at how many insurance companies prefer the new tech way of obtaining a quote. When being asked the series of questions by an agent to get a specific quote, you must be careful just how you answer each of these questions because what you say can affect your quote in some way due to the information. You should always have the information available in front of you when you go to obtain a quote to speed things up. Take a copy of your current insurance policy and the personal information of all the drivers. If this way sounds like too much work try getting quotes by going the internet route as opposed to the conventional way.

Doing insurance quotes online is not only easier, it also has many benefits and some of these are obvious. The first is that the quote that you get will be an actual amount or in the estimation of the closest amount that is possible for your specific insurance quote. You can also get a quote within a few minutes of entering your information.
